Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
Relevant 3-year diploma or equivalent NQF6 qualification in SCM, Public Management or any other finance related qualification
5+ years experience in the field of SCM / Finance / Auditing, in the public sector with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Completion of SAICA or equivalent institution articles
Willing to work overtime when required
Must be available with one months notice
Be able to attend face to face interview in Pretoria
Clear criminal record and contactable references
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
Monitor the progress of the organization bidding and adjudication processes in line with relevant policies and relevant prescripts, in conjunction with Project Managers and End Users
Assist in developing, implementing and monitoring SCM policies, procedures and systems
Review tender proposals and ensure full compliance with requirements and evaluation criteria as set out in a bid document
Assist the Office of the CFO to monitor the implementation of the approved Annual Procurement plan
Facilitate and advice various business units within the organization in developing Terms of Reference and / Specifications for sourcing
Act as a Secretariat for the organizations various bid committees, namely Bid Specifications Committee, Bid Evaluation Committee and Bid Adjudication Committee
Manage and administer the contract register Users
Compilation of reconciliations
Reporting on SCM and procurement activities
Engage with Auditors (External and Internal) and provide relevant required documents as per agreed timelines
Oversee and manage SCM staff
Salary: R444 036.00 R531 602.00 per annum + benefits
