Job Purpose
Provincial Treasury, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a qualified and competent individual to facilitate the implementation of municipal and Provincial Public Private Partnerships (PPP) infrastructure projects. This post is stationed in Cape Town, CBD.
Minimum Requirements
An appropriate 3 year B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in Finance, Economics, Commerce or Built Environment; A minimum of 5 years relevant functional experience in monitoring infrastructure projects/programmes; A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence.

Key Performance Areas
Conduct assessment of potential PPP infrastructure projects; Provide support in the implementation of PPP infrastructure projects; Analyses restructuring projects and feasibility studies for non-core functional services; Provide technical assistance, support and advice for PPP infrastructure projects; Monitor compliance with relevant regulations governing PPPs.
Competencies
Knowledge of the following: Public service policies and procedures; Functioning of National/ Provincial as well as Local Government; Financial Management; Project Management; Written and verbal communication skills; Proven computer literacy (MS Office).
Remuneration
R 444 036 per annum (Salary level 9)
Note on remuneration: Service benefits or obligations for qualifying employees (medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc) are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
Notes
Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit documentation for verification purposes and criminal record vetting.
