Assistant Auditors

We're looking for immediately available Assistant Auditors for a 12-month Audit Project for our client. Available to start October / November. Our client offers services in the audit and verification services space within South Africa. Role locations vary, but predominantly Johannesburg and Cape Town based. You'll form part of audit teams and assist with audit verifications onsite at the various clients. Responsibilities: Assist the audit team with collecting and organizing financial data Ensure all audit work complies with applicable regulations, standards and best practices Compile a comprehensive portfolio of evidence to substantiate audit findings and recommendations Conduct audit activities as per agreed-upon procedures Stakeholder engagement, working with other auditors, team members and client stakeholders to ensure smooth and successful completion of the project Maintain organized and detailed documentation of all audit activities and findings Participate in quality assurance reviews of audit work to ensure accuracy and adherence to established standards Ensure that audit progress, issues, and findings to the audit are all communicated well and in an efficient and timely manner
