Your Role: As a Financial Reconciliation Specialist, you will be responsible for the reconciliation and valuation of biological assets and inventory, ensuring compliance with their financial controls. You will also support the accountant with monthly financial transaction postings and reconciliations. Your key duties will include: Conducting stock takes, sample tests, and verifying biological assets and inventory Capturing and reconciling monthly biological assets and inventory data Investigating and reporting on variances in biological assets and inventory Reviewing and improving stock control processes Allocating and valuing monthly costs for biological assets and inventory Assisting with process and product costing analysis Reviewing sales invoices and supporting documentation Assisting debtors and creditors clerks with query resolution Reviewing monthly cashbook reconciliations Processing and reviewing weekly and monthly payment requests Compiling and processing monthly accruals and general journals Reconciling monthly fixed asset transactions and compiling fixed asset registers Collating monthly control account documentation Completing VAT returns Assisting with external and internal audit requests Supporting the Accountant and GCFM with group reporting requests What Were Looking For: In-depth knowledge of inventory, dispatch, and production documentation processes Proficiency in process and product cost allocation Strong Microsoft Excel skills Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills Solution-driven with a strong sense of responsibility Experience in manufacturing is advantageous Experience with Navision or Business Central accounting packages is beneficial Minimum Qualifications and Skills: Completed grade 12 Tertiary qualification in accounting or finance Completed articles Active studies towards SAIPA, CIMA, or ACCA are beneficial Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills Valid drivers license and willingness to travel
