MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSRelevant tertiary qualification preferably in LogisticsA minimum of 8 years of experience within the fruit export and/or import industry.Excellent computer literacy, including Word, Excel, and OutlookGlobal Standard or Food Safety, BRCGS and Global Gap Qualification certification and ExperienceInternal Auditing Training and experienceKnowledge of fruit export documentation.Self-motivated, result-driven, exceptional attention to detail, and able to take initiativeValid drivers licenseDUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Packhouse Coordination:Engage with packhouse management to ensure compliance with packaging standards and timelines.Oversee the packing process to ensure fruits are packed correctly and efficiently.Shipping and Logistics:Coordinate with logistics companies and freight forwarders to arrange transportation.Ensure timely and cost-effective shipping of packed fruits to international markets.Monitor the shipping process to ensure fruits are delivered in optimal condition.Shipping DocumentationPrepare and manage all necessary shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and export declarations.Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and documentation requirements.Liaise with customs officials and regulatory bodies as neededONLY short-listedcandidates will be contacted.
