Artistic Fashion Designer (Clothing Industry)

We are looking for an Artistic Fashion Designer with a background in retail to join our client's team at their head office in Midrand.
Responsibilities: Research and identify key seasonal trends.
Create garment and clothing CAD designs.
Develop trims and assist with store VM artwork and selling-in catalogues.
Design mood boards and colour palettes.
Build and refine clothing ranges.
Conduct competitor analysis and assist trend consultants with research.
Develop swing tickets and create visually appealing graphic designs aligned with brand aesthetics.
Collaborate closely with the merchandise team to incorporate design requirements and feedback.
Utilize Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to bring conceptual designs to life.
Stay updated on industry trends to ensure designs are innovative and appealing to our target audience.
Work on a variety of design projects, including apparel graphics, prints, and branding materials.
Requirements: Proven experience as a designer in the clothing industry.
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Strong artistic and creative skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take direction from the merchandise team.
Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate design concepts and ideas.
