ARTISAN PLUMBER (x1)
DIRECTORATE TECHNICAL SERVICES
Task Level 9 R165 696 to R215 112 (Basic Salary) R271 116 to R335 070 (Total Cost to Council Package)
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS OF POST:

Responsible to monitor reservoir levels and sewer pumps.
Responsible for repairs and maintenance of water and sewer pipelines (mains) and fittings.
Installation and maintenance of sewer connections and new mains.
Installation and maintenance of water meters, service connections and new mains.
Responsible for materials and stores requisitions.
Record keeping of daily work.
General Maintenance of domestic installations on municipal buildings.
Responsible for on-site occupational health and safety.
Responsible for Municipal Assets and Equipment.
Responsible for supervision of staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Valid Trade Certificate as a Plumber.
Valid Code C1 Driver's license and PDP.
Must be prepared to perform overtime and standby duties when required.
