Job Title: Artisan - KZN Location: Natal, Pinetown, Westmead Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Primary Industry: Environmental and Waste Secondary Industry: Health, Medical and related Job Duties: Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery in compliance with safety regulations Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical issues Fabricate, weld, and assemble components as needed Conduct preventive maintenance tasks Document work performed and maintain accurate records Required Qualifications: Relevant trade qualification as an Artisan Valid driver's licence Knowledge of health and safety regulations Education: Successful completion of an apprenticeship programme in a relevant trade Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Artisan in a similar industry Knowledge and Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings Proficient in welding, fabrication, and assembly techniques Good problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in relevant areas Experience working with waste management or medical equipment Working Conditions: Exposure to various environmental conditions May require working in tight spaces or at heights Occasional weekend or overtime work may be necessary
