Responsibilities

Managing the engineering team of boilermakers, fitters, riggers, servicemen, and learners.
Plant equipment maintenance, repairs, and reaching plant availability targets.
Continuous improvement of plant equipment to reach production targets.
Ensuring plant conformance to statutory requirements (general machinery compliance, tool & equipment compliance, plant safety device maintenance and inspections).
Manufacturing of equipment as per drawings and installation of steel structures.
Ensuring the availability of all plant spares.
Adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and housekeeping.
Internal and external theoretical and on-the-job training of artisans, ensuring the engineering teams are trained and competent for all tasks to be performed.
