Volunteering Length: Min. 3 months preferred.

We are seeking highly motivated volunteers to join our team and play a key role in supporting our mission. Join us, and you'll be part of a vibrant and creative movement that's making a real difference to people's lives.
As a volunteer for Mental Fight Club, you will support the delivery of our arts events and activities. You will work closely with all our team members to ensure that our events are well-organised, welcoming, and engaging for all participants. If you are a creative, organised, and people-oriented individual, with a passion for the arts, we encourage you to apply.

Main DutiesAssist in the general preparation and smooth running of events.Assist with serving food & refreshments.Participate in the workshops and engage with attendees.RequirementsPassion for the arts and an understanding of mental health.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.Creativity and resourcefulness.What will the volunteering role offer the student and what will they learn while they are with you?Volunteering with MFC is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience of creative event facilitation and management. Working with a small team, volunteers will develop skills in communication, organisation, and teamwork. The community aspect of MFC events gives volunteers the opportunity to connect with individuals from all walks of life, developing a deeper understanding of individual & community needs within an environment that promotes the importance of improving mental wellbeing.
Through working closely with workshop practitioners from a range of different artistic backgrounds, volunteers will have the opportunity to learn creative skills, share any skills they have, and build professional relationships.
MFC workshops emphasise the importance of promoting mental wellbeing through creative practices. Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn more about how creativity can make a positive impact on the individual, and how we as a society benefit from sharing and learning through creative practices.
