MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES  Degree / Diploma in Nursing Education Current registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse Current registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Nurse Educator, Assessor and Moderator  MINIMUM EXPERIENCE  Three years of working experience in a hospital or clinic.  ADDED ADVANTAGES  Development of teaching material and assessment of students Advanced Computer skills Experience in Community Engagement  SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE  Job Specific Knowledge:  Strong knowledge and expertise in general nursing Strong knowledge of nursing skills  Job Specific Skills:  Good knowledge and application of Microsoft Office packages and Correct use of Teaching and Learning as well as clinical Facilities/Technologies Excellent interpersonal & presentation skills Time Management Management of student diversity, e.g. education, culture, gender, etc. Ability to mentor and coach students  RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE  Clinical teaching and assessment for undergraduate programs Participate in community engagement integrated with teaching and research Perform academic leadership and related administrative duties Any other duties that may be assigned to you by the HOD  Closing Date : 11 September 2024.  To apply: Interested applicants who meet the criteria are invited to:
