Key Purpose:
Ability to interrogate the brief and strategy in order to produce world-class ideas, craft in art direction and results on all conventional and unconventional media types for their client / potential client.
Creative Responsibilities:
Build the creative reputation of Hunt Lascaris.
Take accountability for ensuring all creative output consistently meets the highest quality standards.
Present creative work internally and externally in a clear, professional and impactful manner.
Produce and craft original and great concepts and copy proactively and in response to creative briefs of existing clients or potential clients.
Work with Strategy & Account Management to understand clients' brands and manage projects to support the delivery of iconic work.
Collaborate within the creative department and with other departments in Hunt Lascaris and partner companies.
Stay aware of current trends and popular culture to remain relevant and contemporary.
Consistently develop and refine craft demonstrating passion for the work.
Contribute to the shop window (local and international awards), a key imperative at Hunt Lascaris.
Business Management Responsibilities:
Accurate recording of work time.
Participate in new business pitches and business development as required.
Spread positive sentiment and avoid adding negative sentiments that could harm Hunt Lascaris' reputation.
People / Collaboration Responsibilities:
Anticipate and reflect the changing needs of Hunt Lascaris and its clients through on-the-job development and participation in the creative department.
Provide feedback to the Creative Director regarding potential improvements in the creative department.
Support and involve team members at appropriate times to resolve issues.
Seek collaborative ways to make Hunt Lascaris a great place to work.
Requirements:
Knowledge and Experience Required:
3+ years as an Art Director in a leading creative agency/company that has generated or can generate world-class ideas and art direction.
Skills and Educational Requirements:
World-class art direction ability.
Presentation skills.
Strategically minded.
Creatively diverse (concept, design, illustration, photography).
Technical understanding of TV & content production, edits, sound, music, voice, and direction.
