Art Director – Durban

A very large well-established Advertising Agency based in Durban North is looking for an Art Director.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To be senior member of a dynamic creative team
Work on TV, press, digital, in-store promotions and activities
Produce original concepts as well as art direction in response to creative briefs
Work closely with account teams, ensuring effective communications
Encourage and facilitate collaboration within the team and other departments

Requirements:

Design Diploma / Equivalent thereof
Design and conceptual skills necessary
Experience in broad spectrum of print-related work, with a grounding in both advertising and design would be an advantage
High level of technical knowledge
Effective communication skills
Must be able to work with InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Minimum of 5 years' experience in advertising agency industry
