The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sales operation of the company in a geographical area.
Responsibilities: Providing quality leadership for the internal and external customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding the company's values always: inclusive of constructive problem solving, facilitating creative improvements, and inspiring others.Establishing an environment and foundation for future sales growth.Selling value and solutions to the customers.Leading the top-to-top meeting with key customers to ensure strong relationships and remove business obstacles, aligning with long-term company direction.Achieving monthly and annual set budgets.Showing initiative in analysing and improving business processes.Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market.Developing sales strategies and setting targets.Compiling and analysing sales figures.Keeping up to date with products and competitors.Maintaining and increasing standards of customer service.Establishing, maintaining, and expanding your customer base.Reaching the targets and goals set for your area.Qualifications and Competencies Required: Must have matric and tertiary qualification.Sales experience in selling forklifts.Excellent communication and 'people skills.Computer literacy essential and Auto Line/Advantage experience an advantage.Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.Excellent sales and negotiation skills.Working knowledge of forklifts and selling forklifts within an assigned sales territory.Proven oral, written, telephone and presentation skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Must have a valid driver's license.Good planning and organisational skills.Good business sense.NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
