You will manage a team of loan officers, ensure efficient and profitable loan distribution, and execute our mission to transform lives through access to finance. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and communities while driving the growth of our microlending portfolio.Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve microlending targets in the designated areaConstruct and manage an efficient loan officer team, ensuring compliance with lending policies and best practicesDrive loan portfolio growth through effective marketing and business development strategiesMonitor loan collections and implement strategies to minimize defaultsFoster relationships with local communities, partners, and stakeholders to enhance our presence and promote financial inclusionConduct regular market research to identify emerging trends, assess market demand, and identify potential opportunities for expansionProvide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to the loan officer teamCollaborate with the leadership team to streamline operational processes, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsPrepare area-level reports, including loan disbursement, recovery, and portfolio performance, for review by the senior managementDesired Experience & QualificationsMatricProven track record in managing a microlending/microloans portfolio or related fieldStrong knowledge of microfinance principles, practices, regulations, and standards in the assigned areaExperience in team management, including coaching, performance evaluation, and capacity buildingExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levelsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesSound proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office SuitePackage & RemunerationR400 000 CTC to R600 000 CTC per annum based on experience and qualifications
