IntroductionTo deliver cost effective operational strategy and service excellence by leading and directing the store management teams in order to deliver on the brands sales, profit and compliance targets leading to a competitive advantage for the brand.
Key Responsibilities:Implement area business opportunities to gain market differentiation that results in sales and profit growth through continuous competitor analysisManage financial targets for the areaEnsure internal processes, procedures and compliance for the areaIdentify, escalate and deliver continuous business process improvements within the areaMonitor area performance, identify and analyse trends, report on business performance and ensure appropriate actions are takenGenerate, analyse and act on relevant reports and provide feedback within specified timeframesDrive customer service initiatives and take corrective action that results in a great customer experienceImplement and deliver on the store expansion growth targets for the areaImplement the people strategy that ensures ongoing pharmacy and professional developmentSupport and deliver the region's retention strategyEnsure adherence to HR policies and proceduresEducation and Experience Requirements:Desirable: B.Com Degree or Diploma /B Pharm (retail/finance management, pharmacy or related)Minimum 5 years' experience in an area management role within a retail store operations environmentFinancial management experience (budgets, profit and loss statements, financial ratios, etc.)Job Knowledge and Skills Required:Retail ManagementHuman Resource ManagementChange ManagementBusiness AcumenCommercial and Entrepreneurial AwarenessCommunication SkillsInterpersonal SkillsAnalytical SkillsDecision-Making SkillsAble to motivate peoplePersuading SkillsLeading and SupervisingPlanning and OrganisingDelivering Results and Meeting Customer ExpectationsCoping with Pressures and SetbacksKindly note only applicants who meet the minimum requirements will be contacted.
