Assist warehouse with moving stock into the warehouse.
All stock received is packed into its designated areas.
All sellable stock from returns is packed away timeously and second check all stock received.
Assist with stock takes.Segregate all expired and damaged stock and update logs and documentation for inventory processing.
Monitor and report all slow moving and non-moving products.
Accurate and systematic replenishment of pick faces.
Accurate labelling/re-labelling of all bulk storage pallets.
Adhere to stock rotational procedures.
Transfer of bulk stock from holding pallets into correct pick faces.Picking ProcessingResponsible for the quick and accurate picking of all orders.
Pulls and packs product based on daily orders.
Organize orders to be staged in an efficient manner.
Ensuring products are in a sellable condition as per Company SOP.
Ensure picking is presented in logical and neat order.
Ensuring that orders are packed in the correct staging area.
Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.Storage and Stock HandlingEnsure items have appropriate product description by marking items using labelling equipment.
Ensure stock received is packed properly and neatly on pallets.
Ensuring stock is stored according to requirements.
Package stock, sealing and tagging it to store correct locations.
Arrange items in containers and bins following specific instructions and arrange containers on pallets.
Check storage containers for damages.
Ensure stock on pallets is secured to avoid damages.
Scan delivered items and ensured quality.
Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.

Qualifications and Experience:Minimum Grade 101 to 2 years' experience in warehouse operations in medium to large scale Warehouse environmentProven experience to any role or duties relating to warehousing and stock control.Knowledge and experience in safety practices and procedures applicable to handling of food products.FMCG experience highly advantageousSkillsStrong attention to details and planning skillsNumeracy and literacy skillsEffective time management and organization skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong communication skills in writing and verbalPossesses physical strength necessary to lift and move heavy objects.Fair understanding of inventory management processes and proceduresAble to manage daily changes to schedules and maintain confidence and deliver on deadlines.
