We are looking for a skilled and creative Technical Architect to join our Design team within the real estate development business focusing on Boutique Hospitality Assets.
In this role, you will be responsible for producing design documentation in AutoCAD & Revit for the tender & construction packages, whilst working alongside the Technical Lead. It is important to be particularly confident with technical design (detailing based on constructability) and material systems.

Responsibilities:Work on a variety of high-end hospitality projects (both Architecture & Interiors)Run a project through technical and delivery stages (aware of RIBA stages all the way through to practical completion)Prepare and develop drawings and 3D models (axos) to communicate info to manufacturers and team of external consultants.Rationalize geometries and provide input in regards to simplifying architecture (in regards to construction) whilst also maintaining the initial design intent.Check team drawings + modify/suggest changes (mark-ups)Produce detailed technical construction information for the projectProduce outline specifications documents (materials & material systems).Work within a small project team and manage junior team membersUse Revit / AutoCAD dailyReport to Project LeadsMinimum Requirements:Qualified as an Architectural Technologist, with a minimum of 5 years professional working experienceExperience working on bespoke high-end properties and hospitality projectsConfident in working through detailed design, technical design, and delivery stages of projectsA thorough understanding of design issues on hospitality projects / User Experience orientatedAble to demonstrate work that is all yours in a well-presented portfolioA fantastic technical mind and a good eye for detailIdeally, you will have worked in a medium-sized practice specializing in bespoke projectsCare and attention to detail involved in delivering the scheme or work packagesA proficient user of Revit and/or AutoCAD, worked on live projectsBe presentable and confident with both client and contractor facing responsibilities, as well as coordinating with an external team of consultants such as Structural & Building Services Engineers, and Local Architect's team.Excellent English, both written and verbalSpanish (optional)Nice to have:Hospitality design experienceExperience on site (during construction supervision)Worked for a construction company / contractor (producing shop drawings / fabrication drawings)Speaking both English and SpanishSalary and benefits are competitive and based on candidate experience.
