The Application Support Analyst, working within the Applications Team, is a key player in supporting the Business Processes Strategy: thriving for excellence, driving a culture of harmonisation & continuous improvement, and adding value to the Business.
The role will act as the primary contact for a set of dedicated ERP systems and applications, being responsible for the support and control. Documenting the scope and rules applicable to those systems, providing, and ensuring a consistent approach to change to support the systems' integrity – acting as the advisor and custodian of the process quality & standards throughout, working closely with all key stakeholders whilst maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Role ResponsibilityTECHNICAL OWNERSHIP
Support ERP applications configurations (technical, security & user permissions – where/when applicable)Assist in enhancing the structure of the data, its accuracy and effectiveness, the current setup and reportingAdminister issue tracking and change requestsAdministration of all development, test and production environmentsMonitoring of the performance and daily tasks.Create and drive data strategy to support system reporting requirementsSupport systems implementations and hypercare activities – as/when requiredPROCESS CONTROLS
Ensure the Management of Change process is being adhered toEnsure the appropriate levels of controls are in place and being communicated ahead of the Solution being deployedEnsure the controls are being adhered to; through clear communication with the Team and business stakeholdersBUSINESS ENGAGEMENT AND COLLABORATION
Define clear lines of communication and engage with the Business accordinglySupport functional and cross-functional workshops to drive process adoption and process adherenceCollaborate with the Business partners to provide guidance and establish best practice with regards to Systems/Applications management.Support ongoing Business Processes activities, in line with the strategyOTHER
Support ongoing Business Processes activities, in line with the strategySupport M&A integration activitiesThe Ideal CandidateQualifications: ERP System Administration (Preferably Navision/Business Central/Sage X3)Change Management; manage & enable the change management across all StakeholdersExperience in documenting processes, specifications, policies, standardsExperience of leading workshops, data collation, validation and confirming requirementsExperience of leading process change; proactive approach to developing and enhancing business processesSkills: Experience of LEAN practices Leadership skillsExcellent attention to detailExcellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skillsStakeholder management skills, including ability to influence and solve conflictsAbility to work effectively within both on-site and remote teamsAbility to manage upwards clearly articulating areas of support and concernsProactive approach to developing and enhancing business processesAbility to manage change often at paceAbility to multitask & prioritise in an ambiguous work environment.Creative problem solver; ability to collaboratively solve complex problemAbility to assess & recommend appropriate solution for business requirementsTake ownership of deliverables and drive effective decision makingSelf-motivated, ability to work using own initiative to proactively influence solutionsAbout the CompanyBRUSH Group provide agile and adaptive engineering solutions and products, including consultancy services, design, and project management as well as award-winning product technology, to a wide range of projects.
