Application Analyst

VACANCY: Application Analyst REPORTING TO: Group IT Manager (SAF Aerogroup) LOCATION: Grand Baie, Mauritius or Durban, South Africa SAF Aerogroup has a requirement for a detail-oriented, problem-solving, and analytical individual to fill a position as an  Application Analyst .
The role will be stationed in Grand Baie, Mauritius or Durban, South Africa.
DUTIES (BUT NOT LIMITED TO): Advanced support of Sage X3 on reported bugs, incidents inquiries, Support users in evaluating requirements and determining future solutions.
Manage user access and security, Manage interfaces to and from other systems, Design and manage UAT, Design, implement and maintain ERP management reports in Crystal reports and other.
Liaise with Sage X3 implementation partner for development and bug fixes, Test environment setup and maintenance, Responsible for maintaining up-to-date system documentation, Implement and test configuration changes and scripts to support the business processes, information, and security requirements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: IT Degree Diploma or relevant certifications (financial modules are an advantage) or BCom with specialist areas on IT and systems Sage X3 or an ERP certification on similar enterprise ERP systems - essential Project management experience is essential.
Proven record of working on large enterprise ERP deployment projects Experience in Sage X3 version 9 or higher Financial background essential SQL language Crystal reports Power BI or Sage Intelligence reporting advantageous.
Good level of French proficiency (read, speak and write) Good level of English proficiency (read, speak and write) The above position will be filled in accordance with the Recruitment and Selection Policy to achieve the Groups Objectives and Goals.
