Payroll Services AnalystBe part of a group that is safety driven and values inclusion.Join an encouraging leadership group, committed to your growth and development.Based in Richard's Bay, South Africa.About the roleFinding better ways to provide the materials the world needs.We are looking for a Payroll Services Analyst to focus on actioning tickets on a day-to-day basis and support employees and supervisors with daily queries and performing other administrative tasks. This role supports processes within a large complex, high-volume employee data maintenance, admin support, and payroll function.Reporting to the Service Delivery Partner, you will:Assist with RTTMS Ticketing - Processing, Providing guidance/support to Leaders, HR, and employees.Process/deliver timely and accurate payroll services as per RT Global payroll and local process.Liaise with service provider; SARS (taxation payments, reconciliation, submissions).Guide HR, Leaders & Employees to support understanding and application of payroll & associated systems to ensure receipt of effective Time management related data into payroll.Collect, analyze, and report on payroll related data to HR, business partners, and leaders.Facilitate legislative monthly submissions and payments and liaise with IST to load various payroll changes.Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly reports.Process post payroll activities and ensure timely and accurate pre payroll balancing activities.Ensure accurate processing of petrol claims and preparation of journal for process.Support with face-to-face support and assist business or employees with various queries when required.What you'll bringHR/Finance/Accounting Diploma or degree.Minimum 2 years' experience working in SAP/Workday within a data administrative environment.Knowledge and experience of SAP Payroll within an environment of 1000+ employees and multiple payrolls.Proven experience in creation/review of payroll DTPs and SOPs.Effective written and verbal communication skills (isiZulu language advantageous).Experience in reconciliation of GL accounts.Strong understanding of data privacy rules e.g. POPIA.Drivers license: EB (Code 8) and personal vehicle essential.Your application should include the following:Updated Curriculum Vitae with copies of Qualifications, Identity document, and Driver's License.Acceptance into the position is dependent on a successful interview and assessment.What we offerA work environment where safety is always the number one priority.Career development & education assistance to further your ambitions.Wellbeing benefits.Ongoing individual wellbeing support for you and your family for personal and professional matters.About Rio TintoRio Tinto is a leading global mining and materials company.
