VACANCY: AM SECURITY – SECURITY SUPERVISOR – SIBANYE STILLWATER COOKE, RANDFONTEINWe are looking for experienced Security Supervisors to join our team at one of our major mining contracts, Sibanye Cooke, Randfontein. If you have a strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude, and are a strong manager who has a proven capability to organize, motivate, and inspire a team, we look forward to receiving your application.ResponsibilitiesYou will supervise armed guards and guards on the site.You are responsible for ensuring that the 3 PPPs are actively upheld:Protect the premises and property of the client.Prevent illegal trespassing.Prevent any criminal activities from happening.In order to do the above to a level of excellence, you and your team/shift will:Do day and night shifts;Provide visible access control at the site;Patrol as and when needed;Provide armed response when requested;Manage incidents;Conduct inspections and parades to verify that:PSIRA certificates are valid and give notice to members if their certificates are close to expiring;Perform Bi-Annual Criminal Checks on all Security Personnel;Ensure that firearm competency certificates are valid and remain valid for your members;Report all crimes and identified crime trends after each shift;Control keys, equipment, and company assets utilized by your team;Control firearms and ensure that your team members are compliant with the Firearms Control Act;Administer sick notes and annual leave, ensuring that all staff take annual leave according to a leave roster;Attend all meetings as and when requested.RemunerationNegotiable, depending on skills and experience.Candidates should apply via the Breeze link provided on or before end of business 17 December 2023.
