The Aluminum Despatching Manager will be responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate delivery of aluminum products to customers.Responsibilities:Manage the daily operations of the aluminum despatching departmentCoordinate with production and sales teams to ensure timely delivery of ordersMonitor and track inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintainedDevelop and implement efficient despatching processes and proceduresEnsure all shipments are properly packaged and labeled for safe transportWork closely with transportation providers to negotiate rates and ensure timely deliveryResolve any issues or delays in the delivery processMaintain accurate records of all despatching activitiesTrain and supervise despatching staff, providing guidance and support as neededConduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvementStay updated on industry trends and developments to continuously improve despatching processesAdhere to all safety regulations and company policiesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years experience in a despatching or logistics role, preferably in the aluminum industryStrong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practicesSkills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management softwareStrong leadership and team management skillsAttention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge of safety regulations and proceduresAbility to work flexible hours as needed
