Job Summary: The Agric Sales Manager is responsible for sales management, including customer service, sales, pricing, supply negotiations, business development, innovation, working capital and market intelligence. The incumbent will lead a sales team to achieve the annual sales plan. Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor of Commerce, Sales or Commercial qualification At least 5 years sales or sales management experience Preferably paper, corrugated or packaging industry experience Preferably Abaca, Kiwi or Qlikview working knowledge MS Office package, with advanced Excel Willing to travel extensively Preferably fluent in Afrikaans Primary Responsibility: Long, medium, and short-term sales and marketing planning (budgets and forecasts) Development and implementation of sales strategy and budgets Achievement of annual sales plan in terms of volume and revenue Product costing and customer quotations Supply negotiations and agreements Planning and achievement of all price increases Customer service and relationship management Sales representation at customers New business development, including tenders and e-auctions Product development and innovation Customer complaints management Working capital (debtors and stock) management Business analysis and market intelligence Management of sales representatives through leadership and support People development Business reports and meetings Experience and other requirements: Strategic thinker and sound financial understanding (business and financial acumen) Ability to communicate with customers at all levels - communicating with influence Good numerical, organisational and administrative skills Must have good written, verbal and oral communication in English Strong analytical skills Good people development skills Self-motivated, pro-active, goal orientated and team player Passion for customer service, customer centric Drive to develop others and build relationships Managing risks and driving for results
