An opportunity currently exists for candidates to apply for the position of Administrative Officer to provide administrative support to the Faculty Office in respect of all Faculty administrative processes, in order to ensure alignment and compliance with central administrative systems and procedures; and to provide a professional support service to academics, students and staff.
Reporting to the Senior Faculty Officer, successful applicants for this position will primarily focus on the following for the Faculty of Law:
Academic Administration: Assist with matters related to applications, selections, and registration of students. Enquiry Management: Respond to queries (verbal, written or telephonic) offered in the faculty of Law Marketing & Recruitment: Assist with execution of Open Days, career exhibitions, events,etc. Committee Administration: Assist with meeting administration, scheduling, collating relevant documentation, securing venues General Administration: Office administration e.g. filing, copying, collating documents and statistics for annual and ad hoc reports. Assets Management: Assist with booking / securing of venues, keep and issue audio-visual equipment Marks Administration: Assist with checking and uploading marks to the student administration system General Administration: Assist with administration within the faculty office. Further to the duties mentioned above the appointee will assist with the following as the need arises:
HR Administration Financial Administration Minimum Requirements
A Senior Certificate (grade 12) Three years relevant administrative experience Working knowledge and experience of UWC Student Administration systems (e.g. SASI, MAS, etc) Added advantages:
