Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to support their client's store team. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the procurement department. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to multitask.
Responsibilities: Assist with loading invoices Assist with managing stock Assist storemen with receiving deliveries, checking, and packing Assist storemen with preparing deliveries to lodges Check all expiry dates Conduct weekly visits to all lodges and villas to check on:
Housekeeping, food, bar, and equipment stock Fridges/deep freezers/stock management/rotation of stock/expiry dates Manage stock takes and loading of figures Compare prices from suppliers Maintain equipment lists from villas and lodges Send updated lists of shortages and other issues to managers Requirements: Must be computer literate and functionally competent (Excel, Word, Email) Must be able to communicate clearly with suppliers, managers, and colleagues Must be able to work effectively in a team Must be able to work on the Sage stock system Must be physically strong and able to work in fridges and freezers Good knowledge of administration, including food and beverage/stock-taking systems Must have a valid driver's license Qualifications and Experience: Matric or Grade 12 certificate would be an advantage Minimum of 3 years of hospitality service experience in reputable establishments Valid Code 8/10 Driver's license is compulsory Valid PDP would be an advantage Working Conditions: Live-out position – preference for candidates from Grahamstown Salary: R15,000 per month Reporting to the Executive Chef with input from the Financial Controller Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays or Sundays How to Apply: Apply today with your CV and cover letter to Kendrick Recruitment and seize this opportunity to elevate your career in the hospitality industry!
