Admin Clerk: Learning & Development (3 Months Temp)

Oceana Group Limited is looking for a Admin Clerk: Learning & Development.
The incumbent will provide support to the Maritime Academy, Learning & Development team in Coordination of training specifically on the West Coast (Lucky Star Operations, St Helena Bay and Amawandle Pelagic, Laaiplek) Location: This position is based in St Helena Bay.
  Key Responsibilities: Maritime Academy Coordination Providing support to the Maritime Academy team members.
Coordinate all agreed functional and operational training plans for the Academy under the guidance of the L&D Specialist Effectively, accurately, and timeously coordinate the logistics for learning activities, events and conferences which may include but will not be limited to: Training calendar Internal or external venues Learning material, tools and equipment Flights, transportation, and accommodation Order and track training materials, equipment, and catering Communicate all training initiatives effectively and timeously with all learning stakeholders Acting in the role of a learning ambassador and advisor to team members by providing necessary information timeously Assist with the full invoice process to ensure suppliers are paid timeously and within budget Drive continuous improvement and self-development Manage relationships with internal & external stakeholders Reporting Update training records on the Learning Management System and other required databases regularly (minimum monthly).
Generate, track, and maintain learning reports, licences, certificates and records  Provide assistance with the completion of monthly reports that fall within the Academy.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes SAP experience an advantage High degree of current technical knowledge High degree of accuracy Excellent Interpersonal communication skills Ability to apply initiative, good judgement and creative thinking Meticulous attention to detail Good business acumen Ability to work under pressure and be dead-line driven Required Qualifications Matric is essential, a relevant tertiary qualification is beneficial Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven experience in a similar role Knowledge of the Skills Development Act, Skills Development Levies Act and Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment is advantageous
