Join our Freelance Team as an Admin Assistant (for Processing of Purchase Orders) in the Dubbing/Post-Production Industry.About Content Lab - A TransPerfect CompanyPreviously known as Content Lab, we have been acquired by TransPerfect in April 2024. We are a media localization firm based in Airport City, Cape Town, and form part of their branch of family companies.We are the leading localization facility in South Africa and have major influence on the development of the language dubbing industry, serving a global clientele in multiple language pairs.Our capabilities are in dubbing and voiceover, subtitling, closed captioning, content strategy, and creative direction in the Southern Africa region.About the JobThis is a 6-month Freelance/Independent Contract, with a hybrid work model.This position is based in Airport Industry, Cape Town, South Africa.Our operational hours are Mondays - Saturdays, 9am - 5pm.Salary range: Market related / per day rate.The successful candidate will need a secure and reliable internet connection, a laptop or computer, and ideally a second screen. On-site work is required for the first month of joining.This position is ideal for an individual who is very detail-oriented, focused, a natural problem solver, and someone with exceptional interpersonal communication.The main purpose of the role is to coordinate purchase orders and provide administrative support to facilitate the productivity of the Artist Management Department.2 years' experience in a similar role or experience with payments, invoicing, or processing purchase orders.On-the-job training will be provided, but the ideal candidate will have exposure to the Film, Media Industry, or Talent Management.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for daily logs and purchase order tracking), planning and organizing skills, and experience with payment processes and invoicing.ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain daily purchase orders according to the daily recording session logs.Send authorized Purchase Orders to the freelance artists and directors.Reconcile artist Purchase Orders against the studio schedule, production plan, and the recording session log, and flag inconsistencies with the Artist Manager.Request projects to be added to Xero to facilitate the payment process.Respond to and resolve payment queries from artists within agreed timeframes.Create live logs for new shows and accurate characterizations to allow the Artist Manager to cast for various shows (stand-in duty).Log off the daily recordings, ensuring line count accuracy and correct payments/purchase orders (stand-in duty).Cut-off date: 30 August 2024Expected start date: ASAPIn the event that you do not hear from us after 4 weeks of the closing date, please consider your application unsuccessful.
