Our clients are diverse leaders in their respective industries and representatives across all business sectors.We are seeking a highly experienced Actuarial Analyst within the Employee Benefits space to manage data remediation across the business functions within timelines and to support collaboration between different departments.Duties & ResponsibilitiesLiaise with internal teams, accounting, valuations, systems implementation, operational teams, pricing, and technical marketing.Analyze the root causes of errors and the parties impacted by these root causes.Document data issues and possible solutions.Improve manual Excel tools to lock and version control tools so changes can't be made.Knowledge of risk factors within the data processes of the business and how SOPs manage these risks.Support testing of solutions by writing testing cases and creating reports for testing, and signing off the testing once completed.Analyze raw data.Desired Experience & QualificationMatric Mathematics (essential)Maths or Actuarial degree (essential)Student of ASSA (advantageous)1 year Risk Pricing experience within the Insurance IndustryUnderstanding of insurance and the risks around data (advantageous)Experience in data analysis (recommended)Programming in VBA (recommended)
