A luxurious 5-star hotel in Cape Town is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Team Leader / Supervisor to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will have proven experience in managing an accounts department and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the accounts department, ensuring all financial processes and controls are followed.
Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner.
Supervise and mentor the accounts team, providing support and professional development.
Collaborate with department heads to manage budgets and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
Assist with audits and implement necessary improvements for financial efficiency.
Requirements:
Relevant financial or accounting qualification.
Recent experience in an accounts leadership role, ideally within a 4* or 5* hospitality environment.
Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting software.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
South African citizen.
