Key Outputs:  The successful candidate will report to the Supervisor: Accounts Payable; and their responsibilities will include:  Ensuring that payments to service providers are processed timeously.  Following up on monthly payments and contract payments.  Ensuring all invoices are paid as and when due.  Obtaining monthly statements at the end of every month. Preparing monthly general ledger reconciliations.  Ensuring all supplier accounts and expense accounts are reviewed for compliance at month-end and year-end.  Ensuring that all supplier accounts are up to date  Assisting Internal Auditors and External Auditors with information when requested.
Qualifications and Experience:  Accounting or Finance Higher Certificate (NQF Level 5).  Accounting or Finance Degree (NQF Level 7) will be an added advantage.  Minimum 4 years' work experience in the Finance environment of which 2 years must be in accounts payable. Intermediate proficiency level in MS Excel will be an added advantage.  Experience in working on JDE will be an added advantage.
