Reference: 5508 SJ Consultant: SoneJohnsonJob Description:Writing up of more complex accounting records of clients on Pastel and XeroReview monthly bookkeeping / VAT of SAIPA TraineesReconcile Debtors and Creditors on a monthly basis and provide training for SAIPA Trainees to reconcile Debtors and CreditorsResponsible for calculating VAT and other necessary SARS requirements on a monthly basisPreparation and Review of management accounts.Manage and supervise SAIPA staff to achieve set goalsProvide daily assistance, guidance and training with regards to bookkeeping, related taxes and SARS submissions to SAIPA TraineesPreparing accounting work relating to annual financial statementsPreparation and Review of financial statements.Performing independent reviews.Preparation and Review of tax returns.Reviewing work done by supervised staff before partner review, where applicableImplementation / evaluation of internal controls.Client interaction and relations.Attention to detail is very important.Qualifications:BAcc, BCom Accounting, BCompt or equivalent degreeCompleted articles with a medium / small firm preferredWorking knowledge of CaseWare, Excel and WordKnowledge of accounting systems (Pastel, Sage, Xero)2 years post SAIPA articlesMust be willing to work overtime to meet client deadlines.Own transport and a valid driver's licenseAbility to work under pressure and meet strict deadlinesAbility to work independently and in a teamGood communication skills (English and Afrikaans)How to Apply:Email your comprehensive CV to******.If you are already registered, please forward your CV and the relevant reference number to the consultant with whom you are currently registered in order to avoid duplicity on our system.We reserve the right to only conduct interviews with candidates of choice.Applicants who have not received feedback within 30 days from the closing date must please accept their application as unsuccessful.
