Accounting Manager

Job Summary:Farm Manager SA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to management.Key Responsibilities:Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Accounting System Management: Manage and maintain the company's accounting system, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide recommendations to management.Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.Supervision: Supervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.Payroll and Benefits: Manage payroll and benefits administration, including processing payroll, managing benefits, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts, managing vendor performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies.Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including variance analysis, budget vs. actual, and other relevant financial metrics.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.Experience: At least 5-10 years of experience in accounting, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in accounting software and systems.What We Offer:Farm Manager SA offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
