Accounting Clerk

Key Responsibilities: Debtors Management: Invoicing, account reconciliations, collections, and credit control.Creditors Management: Processing invoices, reconciling statements, and managing payment cycles.Accounting to Trial Balance: Maintaining and balancing financial records, processing journal entries, and ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly and quarterly reconciliations.Support to the Development Team: Provide accurate and timely financial information to support project planning and decision-making.Requirements:Minimum of 5 years in a similar accounting role, specifically in debtor and creditor management and maintaining accounts to trial balance.Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.Advanced knowledge of Xero accounting software and Excel.Strong ability to maintain accuracy in high-pressure environments.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
