They have been in existence for more than 10 years and provide services to clients nationwide. The firm is small but very well established with two partners that are highly qualified and knowledgeable in their field. The firm is a one-stop shop for all their clients' tax and accounting needs.The Accountant will ensure that the efficiencies of the Financial and Operational Departments are unlocked through management of Tax, Compliance, Financial Statements, Bookkeeping Functions, etc.Duties Include:Management of full accounting functions over the Balance Sheet and Income StatementsCashbook Processing and ReconciliationsLoan Management in terms of receivable and payable statements, interest charges and follow upsMaintain Fixed Asset RegisterJournal MaintenanceCashflow MaintenanceConducting of a treasury function to ensure maximum returns are generated on surplus cash-flowAnnual budgeting preparation and comparing of actual vs budgeted performanceOversee and Release PaymentsMonthly Management AccountsAnalyse and provide insight on monthly performanceVAT management and experience in SARS processes, calculations and submissions will be advantageousBehavioural Competencies Required:A humble team playerStrong communication skillsStrong expectation management skillsA focused individual with strong prioritization skills that will drive deliverables to completionSomeone who can cope with an unstructured environment and implement the structure neededPeople Management skillsRequirements:B Com degree in Financial Accounting (Preferred)SAIPA articles completedOwn transport and valid driver's licenseFluent in both English and AfrikaansKnowledge and experience in the following software programmes: Caseware, Pastel, Xero AccountingNOTE - We ONLY accept online applications.
