An Accountant is needed in Waltloo, PretoriaReference: NFR003360-CPi-1Duties & ResponsibilitiesOur client is currently seeking an Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis near Waltloo (Pretoria).Make sure all journal entries have been approved and processed each month.Ensure all balance sheet accounts and cashbooks have been reconciled monthly.Preparation of the General Ledger up to Trial Balance.Review and approval of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.Supervision of relevant staff.Management of the bank accounts and cashbooks on a daily basis.Preparation of the daily bank account movement report and short-term cash flow predictions.Management of the Forex requirements and processing.Maintenance and reconciliation of the Fixed Asset register.Reconciliation and preparation of monthly VAT return.Job Experience and Skills RequiredMatric/Grade 12 (Certificate required)Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting Sciences3 years' experience in an Accountant/Senior Bookkeeper roleSAP B1 knowledge and experienceMicrosoft Excel Intermediate to Advanced skillsManufacturing experience would be advantageousPackage & RemunerationR 350000 - R 420000 - Annually
