About the Role:
As the Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial health of the lodge, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the management team with key financial insights. Your expertise will help maintain the lodge's reputation for excellence.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years as a bookkeeper or accountant, with hands-on experience in creditors reconciliations, bank reconciliations, stock reconciliations, petty cash management, and SARS submissions.
Qualifications:
A tertiary qualification in bookkeeping/accounting and a valid driver's license with reliable transport.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure books are balanced to trial balance.
Prepare management accounts and handle VAT reconciliations and returns.
Oversee wages, salaries, UIF, PAYE, SDL, and WCA processes.
Utilize software like Innkeeper, Pastel Accounting, and Pastel Payroll to streamline operations.
