Financial concern is seeking a qualified Accountant to join their team in Robertson. You will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements of various entities and individuals/sole proprietors and perform general accounting functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Liasing with and managing a portfolio of clientsPreparation of management information and financial statementsProcessing of dataReconciliationsTax calculationsCompletion of tax and tax returns for Individuals, Trusts, Closed Corporations and CompaniesDrafting of Financial StatementsPerform general accounting functionsCompletion of IT12/14 formsCompletion of VAT returnsRequirements: SAIPA qualified preferred4-5 Years post articles experience advantagesGood administrative and communication skillsRelevant tax and tax experience will be advantageousMust be computer literate - good knowledge of Pastel, Ms Word and ExcelMust be able to work under pressureMust be able to work overtime when necessaryMust have own transport with valid driver's licenseGood working knowledge of IFRS and IFRS for SMEExtensive CaseWare experienceNeed to be fluent in AfrikaansPlease note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
