If you have a keen interest in agriculture and FMCG industries and want to make a meaningful impact, this opportunity awaits you Reach out to me now and share your CV on Katesalixrecruitment.co.za Duties: Support daily accounting functions across all company and trust accounts as needed Perform detailed analyses and reporting on production costs for different products Monitor and evaluate operational expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities Collaborate with operational teams to create and enforce effective cost control strategies Track and reconcile financial transactions related to operational expenses Work with operational teams to establish and maintain cost control procedures, including inventory management and procurement Assist in preparing detailed financial reports and statements Contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts related to operational costs Provide management with essential financial data and reports as required Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting agricultural and/or FMCG cost accounting Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom Accounting / Finance Experience: Completed SAIPA or SAICA Articles 1 2 years post-articles experience Knowledge of South African tax regulations is a must Knowledge of agricultural accounting principles is advantageous Skills & Competencies: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Business Central is a plus) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Exceptional attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Superior communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Enthusiasm for the Agriculture and/or FMCG industries Commitment to ongoing learning and growth within a dynamic organization If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
