ExperienceThe successful incumbent will have at least two (2) or more years experience as a representative rendering Financial Advice and Intermediary services.Formal education and qualifications as a minimum requirementMatricSuccessfully completed the Class of Business exam.Successfully completed the Regulatory Exam for representatives (RE5) exam.Certified Financial Planning (CFP) or equivalent full qualification (NQF 6 with 120 credits).Currently registered with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority as a full representative.Must be computer literate on a basic to intermediary level on Microsoft software.Must have excellent negotiation and presentation skills and possess the ability to realise deals.Must have high initiative and entrepreneurial skills and must be able to work independently.Own transport and cellular telephone is mandatory.Inherent requirements and skills applicable to this vacancyExcellent analytical skills.Excellent communication skills.A sound understanding of various financial policies, products and portfolios.Passionate about customer care.Ability to work independently.Attention to detail.Innovative, outgoing and a dynamic persona.ResponsibilitiesProspecting and closing of new business.Maintaining of existing business.Developing and presenting financial planning recommendations and or alternatives to clientele.To have a holistic approach to financial advice.Establishing and defining a professional relationship with clientele.Gathering of financial data and the setting of financial objectives.Analysing and evaluating of financial information.The implementation of financial planning recommendations.The monitoring of the financial planning recommendations.Shortlisted candidates will be expected to undergo psychometric testing and background screening.
