Please note that this role is based at the Robertson practice and requires the successful individual to be based on site Assurance Our Assurance group provides assurance on the financial performance and operations of clients' businesses, as well as helping clients to improve their external financial reporting and adapt to new regulatory requirements. Assurance focuses primarily on public and private sector audit services, and includes the Global Capital Markets Group (GCMG).Main Purpose:Preparation of financial statements of various entities and individuals/sole proprietors and perform general accounting functions.Duties and Responsibilities:Liasing with and managing a portfolio of clientsPreparation of management information and financial statementsProcessing of dataReconciliationsTax calculationsCompletion of tax and tax returns for Individuals, Trusts, Closed Corporations and CompaniesDrafting of Financial StatementsPerform general accounting functionsCompletion of IT12/14 formsCompletion of VAT returnsSkills and Competencies:B.Com DegreeGood administrative and communication skillsRelevant tax and tax experience will be advantageousMust be computer literate - good knowledge of Pastel, Ms Word and ExcelMust be able to work under pressureMust be able to work overtime when necessaryMust have own transport with valid driver's licenseGood working knowledge of IFRS and IFRS for SMEExtensive CaseWare experience
