Job & Company DescriptionsA leading manufacturing company is seeking an Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:Manage creditors, including preparing reconciliations and assisting with the full function.Handle debtors, including processing invoices and managing the monthly recovery of outstanding amounts (assisting with the full function).Oversee month-end processes.Take full control of fixed assets management.Prepare for the year-end audit and compile the audit file.Handle costing and cost control.Prepare monthly management accounts.Calculate depreciation.Manage provisions and accruals.Process journals, including payroll-related entries.Prepare payment lists and requisitions.Submit income tax and VAT returns, including liaising with SARS to resolve any tax issues.Perform ad hoc duties as required. Qualifications: Completed Finance degreeCompleted SAIPA / SAICA articles Experience:Minimum 1 - 2 years experience
