Responsible for reviewing and handling transactions, ensuring accounting rules are followed, revenue is recognized, and producing comprehensive financial reports to support business decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, data analysis, proficiency in accounting and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.Key Responsibilities: To process all required financial information monthly to ensure that monthly accounts reflect a true reflection of the company's activities, assets, and liabilities.Analysis and Reporting of Financial Data.Ensure all internal and external reporting deadlines are achieved.Assist in the development and review of internal control, compliance, systems, processes, and procedure.Perform revenue assurance activities; conduct internal investigation to address leakages. Review, analyze, and report on integration errors between systems.Process Improvement on Financial Systems.Collaboration Among Stakeholders to fix integration and other errors.Core Responsibilities:Financial Record-Keeping:To administer, update and process all required financial information on the relevant financial system according to the relevant Netstar policy, procedure, and internal controls.Financial Reporting:Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.Generate financial reports for management, including budget vs. actual performance.Prepare reports on analysis and findings of integration errors.Compliance and Audits:Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits and respond to audit inquiries.Budgeting and Forecasting:Support the budgeting process by providing financial data and analysis.Assist in financial forecasting and planning activities.Financial Analysis:Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.Provide recommendations based on financial analysis to enhance financial performance.Communication and Collaboration:Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information and support business operations.Communicate financial insights and reports to non-financial stakeholders.Provide financial guidance and support to management and other departments.QualificationsBachelor's degree in AccountingMust be a CA(SA)Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicalsFluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Other requirementsStrong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Strong data analysis skills.Results Driven.
