The company is growing significantly and creates ample opportunity for future growth.About the position:The position is a full-time semi-remote role requiring some local travel to farmers around the country, mostly focused on summer-rainfall grain regions within Mpumalanga and KZN.Core Responsibilities:Onboarding farmers onto the CarbonCrop ProgrammeAssisting farmers in their regenerative transitionConducting regenerative agriculture (RA) and carbon sequestration researchBusiness development by driving adoption of RA in key target areas and attending farmer daysCalculating net emissions for farmers using CarbonCrop toolsAssisting farmers in data collection and processingConducting farm visits, managing trial sites, and collecting samplesRequirements:A relevant degree in Agri Business, Agri Economics, Soil Sciences, or similarA deep knowledge of and passion for regenerative/sustainable agriculture, its challenges, and benefitsExperience working with and supporting farmersValid driver's license and suitable vehicle for local travelExcellent written and verbal communication skills in AfrikaansExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAn existing local farmer network is advantageousIf you are interested, connect with Melissa Stander at ******.
