RequirementsDegree in Finance or relevant qualification requiredRE5 certificateNQF5 STI qualificationRelevant FAIS credits (120 credits) preferred5 years of Financial Lines Account Executive experienceTechnical Broking experience in the field preferredInsurance Institute Associate designation preferredResponsibilities Responsible for Book of business which includes growth (organic, new business, upselling, cross-selling), maintenance, and retentionRegular client interactions and documented outcomes/discussionProvide good advice to clients and explain policies to protect their assets and protect them against financial lossUp-to-date knowledge of changes in the insurance industry (class of business training, CPD training, product-specific training)Compliance knowledge, champion and ensure adherence to all Company's procedures and FAIS requirementsAdvocate Treating Customers Fairly principles including internal client's external clients and third parties (potential new clients)Take overall accountability for claims on all clients – manage client's understanding and expectations and deal with any issuesWork with the Claims team on all relevant claims and also liaise with the Claims Manager on complex claims where requiredWork with the Technical Broker were requested to ensure that procedures, policies, and documents are completedProvide clear instructions and complete information to the Technical Broke
