Join IG's 'The Agency' as an Account Director. You'll be responsible for managing key client relationships, leading cross-functional teams, and driving strategic growth. As part of a connected global team, you'll work closely with strategy, the creative and operations teams in Johannesburg, and marketing stakeholders worldwide across IG Group's divisions, manage end-to-end campaigns and projects, and the creative assets they need to deliver on their plans for growth.

Your role in the team Broadly, you'll manage the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across the IG Group. Your role will be to manage key stakeholder relationships, lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic growth.
What you'll do As part of the Account Director role, you will need to maintain exceptional delivery on the following core competencies:
Oversee multiple high-priority projects and campaigns across the IG Group divisions, serving as the primary point of contactDevelop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholdersSupport the development of integrated marketing and advertising strategies with the Strategy LeadManage project timelines and resources effectively, supporting the traffic and project managersCollaborate with creative, strategy, and production teams to deliver exceptional workMentor and develop junior team members.Who we're looking for You're curious about things like the client experience, the rapid developments in tech, and the complex world of fintech regulation. You're also a confident, creative thinker with a knack for innovating. We know that you know every problem has a solution. What you'll need for this role 8+ years of experience in advertising or marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior account management roleProven track record of growing and retaining major client accountsStrong understanding of fintech advantageousExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentProficiency in EnglishBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related fieldStrategic thinker with a passion for creative solutionsResults-oriented with a keen eye for business opportunitiesAdaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic agency environmentStrong leadership and team management skillsHow you'll grow When you join IG Group, we want you to have more than a job – we want you to have a career.
