Accommodated Testing Services (ATS) coordinates test and exam accommodations for students with documented disabilities, balancing accommodations with academic integrity.Your opportunity:As an Accommodated Testing Services Administrator, you will support the day-to-day activities of the unit, including providing excellent front-line service to students, faculty, and staff; meeting daily deadlines and service standards; communicating exam details to ATS invigilators; preparing the exam centre for assessments; and problem-solving within the scope of the role.Your responsibilities will include:Coordinating appropriate accommodation needs for studentsLiaising with contacts to obtain exams and related materialsLiaising with originators of test/examination scripts to resolve questions or obtain missing dataGathering information for test/examination packages for invigilatorsTracking and monitoring the distribution and return of examinationsDrafting and editing content for communicationsResolving issues within the scope of the role and escalating problems as requiredProviding orientation to others on work procedures and practicesEssential Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experienceMinimum three (3) years' relevant experience in a high-volume, detail-oriented, front line administrative service environmentExperience in an accommodation-focused work environmentExperience maintaining a scheduling databaseExperience drafting and editing contentExperience serving as a resource to a group or on a functionExperience providing orientation to others on work procedures and practicesKnowledge of academic accommodations, and experience working with accommodations and/or accommodated tests and examsAdvanced in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, OutlookHighly skilled in oral and written communicationDemonstrated ability to work independently and solve problemsTo be successful in this role you will be:MeticulousMulti-taskerOrganizedResourcefulTeam player Closing Date: 11/04/2024, 11:59PM ETEmployee Group: USWAppointment Type: Budget - Term; This is a term position until September 2025.Schedule: Full-TimePay Scale Group & Hiring Zone: USW Pay Band 08 -- $62,832 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $80,351.
