Job Title: Abattoir Shift LeaderLocation: Gauteng, Sedibeng District, MeyertonPrimary Industry: FMCGSecondary Industry: Manufacturing and ProductionSalary: ZAR25000 - ZAR35000 Per monthCompany Branding: Lynca MeatsJob DescriptionJob Duties:Supervise and coordinate all activities in the abattoir during designated shiftsEnsure compliance with health and safety and industry regulationsManage and motivate a team of abattoir workersMonitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are metOversee inventory control and stock managementReport any issues or concerns to the Abattoir ManagerRequired Qualifications:Proven experience working in an abattoir environmentFSSC22000, HACCP, Meat ClassificationPrevious supervisory or leadership experienceKnowledge of health and safety regulationsEducation:High school diploma or equivalentRelevant vocational training or certification in meat processingExperience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in the meat processing industryDemonstrated experience in a supervisory role within a high throughput abattoirPork abattoir industry advantageousKnowledge And Skills:Strong leadership and communication skillsAbility to work effectively under pressureGood problem-solving abilitiesAttention to detailPreferred Qualifications:Additional training in health and safetyExperience with inventory management softwareExperience with Meat Matrix software advantageousWorking Conditions:Shift work not requiredExposure to fluctuating temperatures and loud machineryPhysical stamina needed for standing and lifting
