Employer DescriptionOur client is a supplier of lifting and material handling equipmentJob DescriptionOne of our clients is seeking a skilled Fitter & Turner to join their team.Responsibilities:Delivering high-quality products to customers.Manufacturing products according to approved technical drawings.Conducting load testing of equipment.Performing machining and milling operations to meet minimum tolerances.Assembling and testing mechanical equipment.Repairing actuators, including stripping and assembling gearboxes.Performing maintenance, repairs, breakdown services, and inspections on in-house machinery.Must be willing to work overtime work when required.QualificationsGrade 12 or N3 qualification minimum education requiredFitter and Turner trade test (Red Seal)Skills5 years experience as a Fitter and TurnerPrecision machining and milling experienceGood knowledge of various steel grades and machining techniquesExperience in General welding /ARC welding
