Employer DescriptionNetwork, Cloud and Support Services.Job DescriptionOne of our clients in the ICT industry is looking for a highly skilled Level 2 Engineer to join their Team. You must have strong experience in both Networking and Server.You will be responsible for providing second-level technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person, relating to networking and server issues.Troubleshooting and resolving complex networking and server problems, including but not limited to network connectivity issues, server hardware failures, software configuration, and performance optimization.Performing network and server monitoring, analysis, and reporting to ensure optimal performance and security.Assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure and server systems.Documenting all support activities, including troubleshooting steps, issue resolution, and customer communication, in a detailed and accurate manner.Proactively identifying areas for improvement in clients networking and server environments and suggest appropriate solutions.Maintaining and updating technical documentation, including network diagrams, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.Must have own car.QualificationsMatricDiploma or Degree in Computer science, IT or related fieldsCertifications in CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, MCSE, or equivalentSkillsMust have 7 + years experience in networking and server administration within an IT managed services or consulting environment.Must have strong knowledge and experience in networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.Must be proficient in server administration, such as Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).Must have experience with SAN, NAS, and RAID configurations.Must have experience with network security concepts, firewall management, and VPN technologies.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Experience with ITIL principles and best practicesKnowledge of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, etc.BenefitsMedical AidGroup RiskFuel Allowance
